Dogo Onsen Main Building
Dogo Onsen is a hot spring that gushes out in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku, and is said to be one of the three oldest hot springs in Japan. It has been known since ancient times and even appears in the Manyoshu. It was also featured in Natsume Soseki's novel "Bocchan" and is a representative tourist destination in Ehime Prefecture.
Matsuyama Castle
Matsuyama Castle is one of only 12 remaining castle towers in Japan, and is one of the castles with a castle tower built before the Edo period. It has been selected as one of "Japan's 100 Famous Castles" and "100 Beautiful Japanese Historical Landscapes.”
Dogo Giyaman Glass Museum
Approximately 300 pieces of Japanese glass from the Meiji and Taisho eras are on display, including the red plate glass of Shinrokaku, the symbol of Dogo Onsen Honkan, and rare Edo period Giyaman and Vidro, the largest number on display in Western Japan.
