Hot Springs

1

Men’s Communal Hot Spring

Kumamoto's Yamaga Onsen has been known as a "hot spring for beautiful skin" since the Heian period. The hot springs at our hotel are simple alkaline hot springs.

2

Women’s Communal Hot Spring

There is a private hot spring source on the premises, and you can enjoy plenty of 100% free flowing hot spring water. The simmering and slippery feeling of the hot water is overwhelming.

3

High Quality Spring Water

Because the water from our own hot spring source is plentiful and of good quality, we have even created our signature skin care products using the hot spring water from Yamaga Onsen. Click image for details.

Nearby Attractions

1

Yamaga Onsen Sakurayu

It is the largest public bath in Kyushu and retains the architectural style of the Edo period. Please stop by Sakura-yu, a majestic wooden hot spring that has records as a tea house for the lord of the Hosokawa domain about 370 years ago.

2

Yachiyoza

Yachiyoza was built in 1910 by Yamaga businessmen. If you look up, you'll be able to enjoy a space that evokes a romantic atmosphere dating back to the Meiji era, with the ceiling brightly colored with reproductions of advertisements for husbandmen's shops, and lanterns giving off a faint light.

3

Onsen Plaza Yamaga

A shopping mall that is also visited by locals. We have a wide selection of local Yamaga and Kumamoto prefecture specialties, souvenirs, and side dishes. Why not stop by the souvenir corner featuring local specialties?
